What is 192nd infantry brigade?

The 192nd Infantry Brigade was a short-lived training brigade of the United States Army. It was activated at <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Fort%20Benning" >Fort Benning</a>, Georgia in August 1966 and inactivated in April 1968. Its primary mission was to train infantry recruits for service in the <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Vietnam%20War">Vietnam War</a>. The brigade fell under the command of the US Army Training Center, <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Infantry">Infantry</a>. The brigade consisted of several training battalions responsible for basic and advanced individual training. Due to changing requirements and restructuring within the Army training command, the 192nd Infantry Brigade was inactivated after less than two years of service.
